‘Blue Bloods’ Fans, You’re Not Ready for This Latest Show News

Blue Bloods fans are still feeling relieved after last week’s big news.

As we previously reported, the popular police procedural series, which is the third longest-running CBS scripted show (behind NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles) got renewed for a monumental 13th season — something that both fans and the cast of the show can appreciate. Since sharing the news on April 26, the official Blue Bloods Instagram account has gone back to posting its regular teaser snapshots. The latest of which celebrates the wrap of the 12th season, which comes to an official close on Friday, May 6.

“A pat on the back for an incredible twelfth season,” the caption, which accompanies a photo of Erin (Bridget Moynahan) patting Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) on the back, reads. “Can’t get enough? Rewatch #BlueBloods from the beginning and get caught up before Friday’s season finale now, on @ParamountPlus.”

When will Blue Bloods season 13 premiere?

Another reason you’ll want to get caught up? If history serves us right, the 13th season will be here in about five months. While no news of an official Season 13 premiere has been released, it’s safe to assume that the series will stick to its regular schedule while maintaining its devoted cast, who at this point have worked together over the course of 250 episodes.

What will Blue Bloods season 13 be about?

Needless to say, at this point, the Blue Bloods Season 13 plot remains up to speculation. Still, we can’t help but wonder how certain storylines will play out. What will happen with Danny and Baez (Marisa Ramirez)? Will Anthony Abetemarco (Steven Ralph Schirripa) show up to more Sunday night dinners with the Reagans? Will Joe (Will Hochman) become a more solid mainstay on the show? What’s going to happen with Erin’s career? We know we’re not the only ones pondering the future of Blue Bloods. After all, the whole reason the show got picked up for its 13th season is that it draws in an incredible 9.81 million viewers per episode, making it the fourth highest-viewed non-sports program on TV. On top of that, it’s the #1 most-watched Friday night show. Needless to say, fans all over the world are anticipating what comes next. Only time will tell!
