A Mohamed Salah injury could and should worry Liverpool supporters ahead of the second half of this FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley.
The Liverpool superstar went off injured during the opening half of the Reds’ clash with Thomas Tuchel’s side this evening.
Nothing can separate both sides during a relatively entertaining 0-0 draw at the halfway point, but Jurgen Klopp has a tactical issue to solve during the break.
This Salah injury is a massive cause for concern, with Diogo Jota replacing him.
Liverpool have a Champions League final in two weeks time and Clinton Morrison, speaking on Sky Sports, has appeared to criticise the German manager for playing him today.
He said: “It’s a huge blow. There was no one near him… But there are enough options on the bench, don’t risk Salah in a game like this. Even though it is a big game, but there’s a Champions League final and you want him fit for that.”

Salah injury
Is Klopp to blame? Absolutely not.
Liverpool have the chance to complete part two of a potential quadruple here at Wembley and Reds’ supporters everywhere around the world would’ve been disgusted had Klopp rested Salah.
Yes, the Champions League final is a bigger game, but the former Borussia Dortmund boss has already been resting Salah – labelled a ‘freak’ by Paul Merson for his form – in recent weeks.
So to do so again today, just because of the Real Madrid clash, would’ve been completely brainless by Klopp.
This is a world-class manager, one who earns £288,000 per week at Anfield, and he’s worth every single penny.
He isn’t perfect, but more often than not Klopp makes the right decisions regarding Liverpool players and starting Salah was the correct call.
He hasn’t been in the best of form since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year, with the speculation over his future no doubt a factor, but he’s an absolute game-changer for Liverpool all the same and no, you don’t rest Salah in any final.
