SCHAUMBURG, IL DECEMBER 1, 2022
Welcome to December and the 25 days of Christmas series where each day an article will spotlight a fighter (some more well known than others) from various promotions that you should be excited to see in 2023. We are starting it off with TUF winner and brother of former welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman. Mohammed Usman is an intriguing heavyweight to watch because of his family roots. He was an underdog on The Ultimate Fighter and came away with the championship and a new contract with the UFC. We have seen recent success from TUF winners and I am curious to see if that trend continues here. We are yet to be told about a fight announcement but realistically I would be shocked if the 33 year old prospect doesn’t see at least two fights in the promotion during this upcoming calendar year.
