Tipperary head to TUS Gaelic Grounds this afternoon to face Limerick with their hopes of progressing to the All Ireland Championship hanging by a thread.
Tipp earned plenty of plaudits for their performance against Waterford in round one. However, a debacle against Clare last time out see’s The Premier County on zero points and on the brink of elimination from the competition.
Limerick have put their poor league form behind them and are once again looking like the team to beat this summer. The back-to-back all Ireland Champions have already blown Cork away and edged out a classic against Waterford and are in complete control of the group.
For Tipperary, their injury worries continue, with John McGrath being ruled out until next season with a leg injury.
Limerick are without Cian Lynch for this weekends game as he continues to recover from a hamstring issue. Kyle Hayes is also unlikely to feature.
