
Jeremy Woo of Sports Illustrated formerly had Davis as the No. 6 choose heading to the Pacers, but has knocked him down to No. 10. Davis would support Washington’s need for a guard, inspite of the club’s tendency to load up on forwards in the past drafts. Woo outlined Davis’ capacity to be steady on all regions of the floor despite battling injuries through the period as a spotlight to drafting him.
This select has been very touted as a probable trade as the Wizards have demonstrated interest in upgrading their backcourt. They’re a crew that has expressed desire in trading up for previous Purdue guard Jaden Ivey, but Woo reported they “realistically may well not have ample to present to get that significant.”
