Leeds United ace Stuart Dallas put in a great performance for Northern Ireland on Friday night.
However, the Elland Road ace did have to come off late on due to a potential knock.
Dallas played until the 79th minute, at which point Ian Baraclough substituted him.
Sky Sports reporter Gary Weaver shared what he saw from the sidelines, speculating it could be a groin issue.
“Medical staff having a word with Stuart Dallas looks like it was his groin,” he said (25/3/22, 20:54).
Sky pundit Iain Dowie added: “I saw him having a word with Ian Baraclough, hopefully, it’s nothing serious.”
There were no updates on Dallas’ condition directly after the game.
Perhaps the Leeds ace came off as a precaution and no news is good news?
With Northern Ireland facing Hungary on Tuesday, there should hopefully be some updates in the coming days.
Dallas is known to be an incredibly tough player, but at the same time, he should be given some respite.
The Leeds ace took a hefty blow in the 3-2 win over Wolves when he collided with Joao Moutinho.
Nonetheless, he was deemed fit to start against Luxembourg.
Hopefully Dallas comes through the international break unscathed and can get back to helping Leeds retain their Premier League status.
“Another assured display”
Dallas impressed in the 3-1 friendly win over Luxembourg, earning praise from Northern Irish media outlets.
Belfast Live wrote: “It was the Leeds United star’s searching pass that Magennis fed off for the opening goal.
“Another assured display in right wing back role.”
And the Belfast Telegraph wrote: “Probably didn’t expect to register an assist when he sent the ball forward to Magennis for his goal.
“Steady display as always.”
