Raquel Pennington is in an interesting situation making her our 24th most interesting fighter to watch in 2023. In the women’s bantamweight division, we are likely waiting on Pena vs. Nunes IIII and then after that fight we will move on to a new challenger in the division. As of now, the surging Raquel Pennington is sitting at 5 making her a real candidate for the next title shot. With the time between, we will see her fight #2 contender, Ketlen Viera. This fight will become crucial as likely the winner of this fight on the first fight card of the new year will have a title shot hopefully in summer or early fall of 2023. The only thing that I think worth noting of Rocky is that her and her partner, Tecia Torres, just announced they will be having a child making it possible that she may not jump right back into a fight camp.
