Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.
1) Former NFL Exec Calls Vikings ‘Frauds:’ I can understand why there’d be some skepticism about these Vikings. The defense, for instance, hasn’t been good enough. On special teams, we’ve seen a couple instances of poor coverage and poor kicking. Even still, the team is second in the NFL, so they can’t be that bad.
2) Sunday’s Vikings Game vs. the Jets just got WAY more interesting!: Don’t overlook the Jets. I know, I know: it’s the Jets. Still, we’d be unwise to prematurely put this game in the win column. Their defense is legit. I’m expecting a competitive game.
3) Cameron Dantzler Provides Injury Update: The team really needs Dantzler to get back from injury. The team really needs Dantler to stay healthy once coming back from injury. The Peterson/Dantzler duo would make the defense look considerably different.
4) Fears Confirmed: Vikings Rookie Lost for Season: Such tough news. It has been a rough start to Andrew Booth Jr.’s career. He has a ton of ability but has struggled to stay healthy. Perhaps a full NFL offseason can help him to take on the 2023 season.
5) Vikings Preseason Hero Now Part of Top 5 NFL Defense: I was among those who were surprised to see T.Y. McGill get cut from the roster. He provided some great pass rushing help, something the team is currently looking for. At present, he’s helping the 49ers climb the standings before the playoffs arrive.
