If you’ve been holding off buying Nintendo gaming goodies that have been sitting temptingly for months in your Amazon basket, then now is the time to complete that purchase as the online retailing giant Amazon is treating us to two days of jaw-dropping deals across its tech products to include price slashes on tablets, laptops and TVs.

As the most popular Nintendo product – having surpassed sales of 100 million globally – the Switch is loved by everyone from children after their first console, to professional gamers competing to show off their skills on Mario Kart and the extensive library. It’s for this reason that the console, and its accompanying games, are rarely on sale.

That’s why when Amazon Prime Day hits, the Switch, alongside other gaming consoles, becomes one of the coveted items and we expect no less this year.

When does Amazon Prime Day 2022 end?

After waiting for weeks on tenterhooks, Amazon Prime Day 2022 has finally been revealed – it’s today! The mega sale will take place between 00.01am 12th July and 23.59pm 13th July – giving you a whopping 48 hours to bag those deals.

Do you need a Prime account to get the deals?

In short – yes, but if you’re not an Amazon Prime member yet then fear not as Amazon is offering a free 30 day trial so you can shop deals without having to pay the £7.99 monthly fee. Alternatively, you can subscribe at just £79 a year or if you’re a student, it’s just £3.99.

What type of deals are available?

There are two main forms of Amazon deals; Lightning deals and Deals of the Day. A Lightening deal is a discount on a product that is offered for a short period of time which can be anything from an hour to half a day. In contrast the Deal of the Day exists only for 24 hours and can be found on the Amazon UK deals page.

What deals on Nintendo Switch were there last year?

Last year there were some amazing deals on the Nintendo Switch and the latest games. Not only were large sums of money generously knocked off the Switch, but customers could save more with game and Switch bundles with one offer including the console, Sports Party, Rayman Legends and Monopoly all for under £300.

What deals can we expect this year?

Big ones! In previous years, Amazon has not disappointed with its discounts and the same is true for this year as we’ve found well-priced Switch, OLED and Switch Lite devices. Nintendo accessories such as the Pro Controller and Charging Dock and an array of games have also had prices slashed.

Get out, CU. If the Big 12 offers Buffs lifeline out of lying, dying Pac-12, they'd be crazy not to take it.

The two biggest football programs in your conference demand more television revenue than the rest of the league, including you, if they’re to stick around. They’re also a constant target of poaching rumors, the most desirable brands to the bigger fish circling the Power 5 pond. And they know it. […]
